Russian & Turkish Baths on Miami Beach

Post image for Russian & Turkish Baths on Miami Beach

Have you been inside the Castle Beach Club that houses the wonderful Russian & Turkish Bath house on Collins avenue on Miami Beach? My dear friends introduced me to this wonderful place a few years back, and I simply love it! It’s not cheap ($40 per person) but it’s worth it. Here is a Groupon for $28 per person. What I love the most is the artwork that lines the wall, the salt water Jacuzzi, the aromatherapy room, the steam room, the amethyst room, and inundating myself in freezing water after steaming myself until I’m melting. Feels so good, tingly, and ALIVE! Legend has it: by immersing yourself into hot water followed by cold keeps you young and rejuvenated. Coincidentally, this is also the premise in Tom Robbins’ novel: Jitterbug Perfume. Believe it or not, they also have good food! I got my usual, a barley vegetarian soup with yummy toast that hits the spot. Later, I tried the pierogis; they needed more flavor but were still pretty good. I also made my own Pink Himalayan Salt Scrub, and my skin glowed! Treat yourself! It may help you live longer and keep you feeling young!
