Another historic gem in downtown Fort Lauderdale is the Stranahan House. I decided to enjoy their Special Halloween Tour, and brought two business freinds ($25 per person). The tour was fun in an educational, historic way. I especially like how the tour-guides hand out dousing rods to locate the spirits. I must say the story of Frank Stranahan is a sad one and I wish the story ended on a happier note! We cheered ourselves up by enjoying authentic gelato from the nearby Pan’e Dolci Bakery.
