Swimming with Dolphins in Key Largo

My cousin, Sabine, was in town visiting from Austria. Like our entire family, she is the ultimate animal lover. What better gift to give her than a swim with dolphins at Dolphins Plus in Key Largo? We arrived and were happily greeted by the dolphins bobbing up and down, even before we got our wet suits on. We then immersed ourselves in the waters where the dolphins would speedily appear and jump right next to us. They greeted and played with us, and did their trained behaviors. We petted them, and they pushed and pulled us through the water. It was so much fun, and full of joy. We laughed and laughed, and you know what they say? Laughter is like a washing machine for the soul.

On the way home, I bought a surprisingly superior and delicious Key Lime Pie from Tower of Pizza, to bring home for my sister’s birthday. The next weekend, Sabine and I headed to Orlando for Universal Studios, Epcot, The Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Stay tuned!
